CENOTE COMBO 3 -THE PIT + DOS OJOS
The Pit
If you like deep dives & drama, this is the cenote for you! One of the deep cenotes we visit, the Pit has a depth of 35m and boosts three layers of water with different densities: fresh water on top, then salt water, followed by a cloud of hydrogen sulfide at the “bottom” at around 35 meters. This cenote has a huge & spacious cavern area with impressively large stalactites. Suitable for first cenotes dives provided divers have some experience doing deep dives.
Dos Ojos (Two Eyes)
This cenote is famous and rightfully so! This large cenote has two different dives that can be done there (Bat Cave & Barbie Line). One boasts lots of laser lights & tunnels that give you the feeling of cave diving since there is little natural light in some areas. The Bat Cave has thousands of stalactites & rock formations to admire. Probably the most famous of the Mexican cenotes and for a good reason, it's simply spectacular!
When doing the Pit / Dos Ojos combo you can choose as your second dive which one of the lines you’d like to dive.
Max depth: 10 mt
Distance from Playa 50 min
**Includes
-Gear
-Transportation from the dive center to the cenotes and back (chance to pick up in down town playa if you don't need to try gear).
