PROTECTING YOUR PRIVACY

At Diversity Diving we are committed to a high level of security and confidentiality of your personal information. When you become a client of Diversity Diving, you entrust us with your personal information.

We value our relationship and believe how you deal with us is your choice. We also believe that by maintaining a current database, it enables us to effectively provide you with all your travel needs. Care in collecting, using and disclosing personal information is essential to continued consumer confidence and good will.

We have developed a Privacy Policy in compliance with the legal framework of the Mexican data protection law. We are following the code for the protection of personal information with:

1. Accountability

Diversity Diving is accountable and responsible for the protection of personal information under its control. We have appointed Petra Hermes as designated privacy officer who is accountable for Fly & Sea Dive Adventures’ compliance with this policy.

2. Identifying purposes

Diversity Diving is collecting personal information solely for the purpose of making travel arrangements and keeping clients informed about relevant information. Generally, this information is collected either verbally, electronically via email or website and in writing via contest entry forms.

3. Consent

Diversity Diving will obtain your consent to collect, use or disclose personal information. Our invoices contain a paragraph explaining our privacy policy in short and we may ask you to sign this paragraph.

4. Limiting collection

The information collected from the client shall be limited to data required for its specific purpose of making travel arrangements. It may also contain travel preferences in order to provide clients with valid future travel information. We do collect email addresses from prospects for the sake of marketing.

5. Limiting use, disclosure, and retention

Your personal information will only be used or disclosed to third parties for the purpose of making travel arrangements. We do not pass on or sell our mailing lists. Diversity Diving will destroy personal information records after the required retention period.

6. Accuracy

Diversity Diving will ensure that personal information is as accurate and complete as possible. We encourage our clients to ensure from time to time that their personal information is still up to date.

7. Safeguards

Diversity Diving will protect the personal information in its custody or control by making security arrangements to prevent unauthorized access, collection, or use. Our office is secured by an alarm system, our computer system is firewall protected. Electronic information is transmitted either through a direct line or is anonymized or encrypted

8. Openness

Diversity Diving makes available the policies and procedures in place to protect your personal information.

9. Individual access

Diversity Diving can obtain access to their personal information upon request. We will not grant access to a third party, except in case of emergency.
