CENOTE COMBO 6- ZAPOTE + MARAVILLA

USD 180.00

Cenote Zapote aka Hell’s Bells

Unique speleothems hanging on the walls of this chimney-shaped cenote and a dense cloud around 30mts make this cenote an especially challenging and mesmerising dive site. The formation of the “Bells” were a big mystery for a long time, but now we know that these rare rock formations are a product of a bacteria feeding on the sulfide acid cloud, taking millions of years to become what they are now. Diving here is addicting!

Max depth 50 + mts (while cavern diving, we don’t pass 40mts)

Cenote Maravilla

In Spanish, “maravilla” means marvelous & this cenote honors its name! It starts with a small entrance that opens up into a gigantic room with almost surreal light effects. This deep cenote also has a very dense cloud (maybe the most dense in the area!) and crystal clear water on top of it; it makes you feel like an astronaut while diving!
